Andy Bowyer

An experienced CEO with a strong start-up entrepreneurial streak, I am highly capable of building innovation focussed businesses through developing trusting and long term relationships at all levels with customers, partners, suppliers and employees.

I have a commercial bias, with heritage varying from delivering complex financial modelling data to the Boards of large PLCs to developing and delivering, through hands on business development and deal closing, robust strategies, marketing and business plans.

I started my engineering career as an apprentice which enabled my progression through to degree level – it is from this experience that I become a passionate advocate of professional engineering apprenticeships in the Space and wider industries.

I actively participate in the Space community being the current chair of the UK Space Mechanisms Group and participating in developing the Space IGS. I am a STEM ambassador and helped develop the National Space Centre Space Academy and Higher Apprenticeship in Space Engineering at Loughborough College.
